Your book will arrive with your first quiz and a letter from the Grand Commander. Quiz #1 contains 20 multiple choice questions covering “Some Masonic and Scottish Rite Basics”. All of the quizzes in the course contain no more than 20 multiple choice questions. Each quiz that you receive will tell you the pages you are to read in the SR.Ritual, Monitor and Guide or in The Bridge to Light in order to answer the questions. EVERY QUIZ IN THIS PROGRAM IS OPEN BOOK. You move through this program at YOUR OWN SPEED. Once you have completed a quiz, you mail it back to the Supreme Council where it is read and corrected. A New Look for a New Year!
Your Sacramento Scottish Rite traversed a rough and
rugged road in 2009 due in part to the economy and the
realization that we could no longer subsidize operations
with our dwindling reserves.
The Scottish Rite administrative staff joined State
employees and others in implementing Furlough Fridays.
The 2010 budget adopted at the December Stated Meeting
reflects further reductions in office hours and elimination
of employee benefits.
The Sacramento Scottish Rite NEWS format has been
modified to reduce publication costs while hopefully keeping
you informed of our current and future activities.
Hopefully the economy will improve during 2010 and we
will be able to restore programs and services we have
curtailed.
