Benefiting the Scottish Rite Clinic for Childhood Language Disorders—Providing free services to children of the Sacramento Valley. (A 501c-3 charity.) Where: TEAL BEND GOLF COURSE 7200 Garden Hwy. The guest speaker at the Stated Meeting for September
will be Mr. Ted Robinson, Lieutenant Commander, US
Navy (Retired). Ted is a decorated WWII veteran with
an incredible story to tell regarding his service in the
Pacific on PT Boats.
He is an accomplished speaker who has recently
returned from speaking engagements at the US Naval
Academy at Annapolis, Duke University and the
Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC.
He is also an accomplished author, receiving many rave
reviews on his book “Water In My Veins”.
LtCdr Robinson will provide a unique and very personal
account of PT Boat operations throughout the Pacific,
including a description of a very famous rescue he and
his crew were involved in.
LtCdr Robinson will have copies of his book available for
purchase at the meeting.
Meeting: 6:00 p.m.
Dinner: 7:00 p.m.
Baked Pork Chops, Mashed Potatoes, Country Gravy,
Applesauce and Beverage
