Greeting Brothers!
A few things I would like to mention.

First off, since we will not be having a Maundy
Thursday (April 1st) celebration
in Sacramento, I
would encourage those
of us in Sacramento to visit a
nearby club
for the evening. We have 3 that are close
by: Chief Solano, Mid Valley, and Golden
Hills who
are all conducting ceremonies.

Please contact the clubs for further details.

The Grand Master of California has initiated a
program to get Masons’ back to lodge. We as Scottish
Rite Masons must remember our primary obligation is
to our Blue Lodges and continue to support and be a
part of them. This is also our only source of
membership. While we should not push our
organization or any other on every new master, he
should know that we exist and that there is more
to Masonry than simply the Blue Lodge.

By your attendance and involvement within your Blue
Lodge, you will make associations with fellow brothers
and can help to stimulate an interest in furthering their
own enlightenment in other areas of Masonry. When a
Mason has shown a desire to seek further knowledge
in Masonry that is when we should encourage them to
join Scottish Rite. Taking these steps will provide
Scottish Rite with the membership and leadership that
will take it into the future.

March 20th is our Setting Maul and Grand Master’s
Reception. This is a terrific opportunity to invite
interested Masons to the Scottish Rite.

Please contact the office for reservations.
