When we discovered our son had a speech delay, we were
confused and uncertain what the future would hold for him and
us. What began as a devastating, painful experience has become a
unique opportunity. The Scottish Rite Childhood Language center
was always mentioned to us as a resource. It wasn’t until I spoke
with another parent whose son had a similar diagnosis, that I
thought he could benefit from the Scottish Rite services. Our
experience since coming to the Center has been nothing short of
phenomenal. I have been impressed with the professionalism of
the staff — as well as the care and concern that is shown for our
family. We have seen dramatic improvements over the past year
that our son has been attending. Besides an improvement in
speech, I have seen his confidence explode. Where he used to be
shy and whisper almost every word, he is now a confident,
expressive and even rambunctious boy. We are grateful
for both the quality and consistency of the services provided by
the Scottish Rite Language Center and hope more parents can
benefit from the valuable resources provided here.
