The Sacramento Bodies, Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry,
cordially invite qualified students to apply for the following
collegiate scholarships it administrates

Application package should include: Completed Application, Transcripts, Photograph, A Brief Biographical Sketch, and any letters of Reference / Recommendation.

Qualified applicants residing in the service area of the Sacramento Scottish Rite Bodies will receive a letter of acknowledgement and will be scheduled for a personal interview.
​​

Application package must be received by May 20 for consideration.
​​

Grants are awarded on a competitive basis and will be remitted to the individual recipient upon receipt of enrollment status from an accredited institution.

Eligibility Requirements
​

Applicants must be enrolled for a minimum of 12 units each semester
​​

Scholarships are only awarded to students enrolled in a four- year university/College
​​

Scholarships are only awarded to students working towards undergraduate degrees
​​

Applicants must live in a County within the area served by the Sacramento Scottish Rite Valley (See below)

Applicants MUST MAKE APPLICATION EACH YEAR. (no later than May 20th) Applicants will only be eligible for Eight consecutive semesters of support
​​

Applicants must sit for a formal interview with the Committee (No phone Interviews)
​​

Applicants applying for semesters 5,6,7 and 8 may have their interview waived depending upon proof of satisfactory academic performance,

Scholarship money will be made payable to the applicant as follows:
Upon official notice of enrollment from the university for the Fall semester (50%) and the Spring
semester (50%) It is the applicant's responsibility to collect proof of enrollment and submit to the
Sacramento Scottish Rite General Secretary, Mr. David Anderson

Scholarships are limited to students residing in Amador, Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Solano, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Yolo and Yuba county.
